Kenny B
Canadian Web Developer & Hosting Infrastructure Researcher
I built HostScout.ca after seeing too many foreign hosting conglomerates market themselves as "Canadian" simply by renting a server rack in Toronto or Montreal or slapping a .ca domain on a US storefront.
With a background in web development and technical SEO, I personally audit every provider before it is listed, checking corporate registry filings, ARIN Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs), IP routing, and checkout billing in CAD.
What I Audit & Research
- Canadian corporate ownership & registration
- ARIN ASN & IP routing records
- Physical Canadian data-centre locations
- Data residency vs. data sovereignty (PIPEDA & Law 25)
- Web performance & technical SEO
